Named for the Norwegian born homesteader, Ever Iverson, the City of Everson, Washington is now the home for just over two thousand residents. The city is surrounded by rich agricultural soils, snow covered peaks, and is only thirty minutes from both Bellingham, WA and Canada.

Emphasis Patrols are in effect:
The Everson Police Department as well as other police departments in the county have received a grant for police equipment and increased police patrols in our communities. The increased law enforcement presence has resulted in our ability to better respond to traffic related complaints and is also responsible for several arrests of wanted subjects.
This emphasis will work in concert with our usual holiday safety campaign which is designed to increase the public’s awareness about drinking and driving, speeding and seat belt compliance. It is our goal to make our community as safe and secure as possible.
The Everson Municipal Code is now online. Click here.
